"I turned on my side and
curled into a fetal position, wrapping my arms around myself in sudden anguish.
Who was I kidding? There was no way Sethian could give me what I wanted from
him in such a short time. That he rushed off the moment the queen had beckoned
told me this clearly. No matter that I was the one who would be the mother of
his children, I would always be secondary to his duty to his first wife. I was
only a human, after all.
What place did a human have in an elven court?"

Can't wait for part 4!! LOVED, part 3.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have got my email notice and the 4th book is available on Amazon.com now. I bought it.. and frankly, I had to read the whole thing at once, totally! It was wonderful - and I was NOT surprised to see the Queen turn into a total stinker. I was surprised by some things in the plot (that I won't go into and spoil the story), but I think the way the story was handled was very good. It ended quite well also. I think there's definitely room for a continuation of the story in another series, perhaps. I hope you will consider that possibility. It was a great "fairy tale" :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the read, Bonnie. As to a continuation, I have a novella scheduled for release at the end of the month. Although it will focus on completely different characters, it is still set in the same world, and Emily will definitely make a cameo.
