*Hi! I've been receiving a lot of emails and Facebook messages with similar questions, so I thought I would address them all in one post. Apparently, there's been some confusion about the framework of my newest series
Riverford Shifters. What my initial plan was to write the series as serial "arcs," with each arc centering on a different couple while they deal with the problems/mysteries inherent throughout the entire series. The first arc, now complete, is
Tempted by the Jaguar, focusing on the couple Kylie and Hunter.
However, that arc by no means is the end of the story as many have assumed. I am currently writing what was to be the beginning of the second arc of the
Riverford Shifters series that focuses on the character Maxim, tentatively titled
Tempted by the Tiger. Due to the confusion, I've decided to scrap the idea of serial arcs and just release the series as novels. This will lengthen the time between releases to one every 3-4 months, but overall, I think this will clear up the confusion and make for a better reading experience. I hope to have
Tempted by the Tiger out by the end of October at the latest.
In a month's time, I will be re-branding all the
Riverford Shifters titles currently out as novels, but until then, they will still be available for purchase and to borrow in Kindle Unlimited in their current serial form. The complete boxed set will remain unchanged.
*The next most asked question has to do with upcoming releases, what will I be releasing next, etc. I've been working all summer on
The Golden Mage, a trilogy of epic fantasy/romance novels that I'm going to be releasing all at once under my "C.G. Garcia" pen name. They are currently in their final edits, and I should be releasing them sometime in August/early September. Once I have a definitive release date and the final covers/blurb, I'll post them both here and on my author Facebook page.
I am also currently developing a new paranormal romance series called
Incarnations of Myth where each book will be its own standalone story but connected to an overarching story element. The first book will feature a dragon-god shifter and hopefully will be out by the end of September. I will also have a novella set in this world featuring a Japanese
oni in the
Taming the Monster multi-author paranormal romance boxed set scheduled for release in October.
Time permitting, I will also be releasing
Black Crimson, Book 2 of my
Fractured Multiverse urban fantasy series in December, along with another paranormal romance novella in a not-yet-titled Christmas multi-author boxed set.
*As for another book in my
Elven King series, yes there will be one. I'm hoping to have a novel featuring Thaylan and a new character completed by February 2016.
Excluding any unforeseen disasters, health, or editor problems, this should be my release schedule for the rest of the year.
